Here are some gift ideas for a quilt and/or pillow:

1. Coach's gift - have a pillow made from a team shirt and have the players sign and date the back.

2. Wedding gift - collect 8 t-shirts from the bride and 8 from the groom and create a personalized stadium quilt.

3. Graduation - create a stadium blanket or twin size quilt for your student.  Makes a great blanket for the dorm bed or to wrap around them while they study.  Add a pillow to match.  Guys love these as much as girls.

4. Grandparent gift - collect shirts from the children, grandchildren, etc and create a meaningful gift for any grandparent.

5. Birthday Party - use 16 solid squares to create a stadium quilt.  Let each one of your child's friend sign or decorate 8 alternating the squares.  This will be a great keepsake for your child.  

6. Childhood Memories - Every mother has special shirts, pajamas, holiday outfits, etc from their children when they were little.   Take these treasures that are stored in boxes and make the perfect gift to brighten any mother's day.  Also a great idea to give to your children when they get married or have a child of their own.

7.  Husband/Boyfriend  - Anniversary/Birthday- take all those t-shirts that have so much meaning but are taking up space in the drawer and create a blanket to throw on the couch or hang on a wall.

8. Special Interest  - do you have a collection of shirts for a motorcycle enthusiast, a sports fanatic, police dept., fire dept., etc?   What a great way to showcase their interests.

9. Remembrance Quilts - create a quilt from t-shirts, dress shirts, sweats, etc in remembrance of a loved one.  What a great way to keep their memory alive.
